Branden Durst announced Wednesday that he has earned endorsements from the Idaho Education Association, Idaho Medical Association, and Idaho AFL-CIO.
“I am delighted that these groups have put their support behind me and more importantly the work that they do on behalf of Idahoans. We look forward in the coming weeks and months of receiving support from many other organizations with Idaho’s best interest at heart,“ said Durst in a statement Wednesday.
Durst, a Democrat, faces Matthew Duncan in the May 15 primary for the Senate seat in Boise's Dist. 18. The winner of that race will face Republican Mitch Toryanski in November. Toryanski doesn't has a primary opponent.
