Trail conditions are "reasonably good" according to Dave Olson at the Boise National Forest. There is one washout on Trail 340 about a half mile from the junction with Forest Service Road 167. Otherwise, riders can expect early season conditions include ruts, water on trails, some mud and possible even snowdrifts in isolated spots. Most trail maintenance will begin later this month, Olson said. Don't forget to buy your 2012 OHV sticker.
