What else is there to say?

Might Be Managable

This year will be the year Akey will have no more legitimate excuses if the Vandals don't win. If the Vandals can't win with the majority of that schedule well then there will be some serious issues that will need to be addressed. Three "Body Bag" games for money, three tough games against Wyoming, Louisiana Tech and Utah State, then a weak schedule with the rest. If you are trying to determine where you are as a team then this schedule should be a good indicator as to which way the Vandal program is headed.

Good luck idaho.

I would think Akey is in fine shape. Has he been there 5 years yet? I really cant remember, but kinda think Dennis was there 5 years ago?
Guess Idaho can be like ND, Miami, UCLA and some others and just turn those coaches over every 4 or 5 years.

Yes, he has

Erickson's one year at Idaho was 2006. Akey has been there for the past five seasons and has compiled a 19-43 record - not bad for the Vandals.

how far BYU

has fallen

And how far has Utah fallen??

Dont see them setting the Pac 12 afire. Good thing they kept Montana St on schedule last year and dropped BSU. Course they was playing in mighty Pac 12, USC, Ore, Stanford and who else?

Utah 54 BYU 10

Does that answer which has fallen further?

I can see 4 tough games for sure---

LSU, UNC, BYU, La Tech, thats probably 4 pretty tough games there.

§ Is "Bye" a new WAC member?

"Idaho plays seven WAC games, beginning with New Mexico State on Oct. 6."

I count six.

How much did the Vandals get for that game? Think Boise State would've taken the same amount to play at Tiger Stadium? Of course, I seriously LSU would offer to play Boise State. There's no risk in playing Idaho.

I predict a record of 5-7 for the Vandals this season. They should be able to get wins against: E. Wash, BG, NMSU, Texas St, and UTSA. Their losses will come from: LSU, Wyoming, NC, LaTech, SJSU, BYU and Utah St.

They'll get better. We want all teams in this state to succeed.

They will lose to Bowling Green too.

Hey did you see

That article about BSU's basketbal team and all the all-stars that made the All star team for the Mountain West Conference? Oh wait.... nevermind.

Tell us about it.

Boise State's BB team is young. They'll get better. I've said this MANY time before: Most school have either a successful FB team or BB team, rarely both. BSU is FB; UNLV is BB. Things even out.

Just remember that the real money in college athletics comes from FB. So, I'd take a Top Ten FB program and bottom-feeding BB program anyday. Fortunately, Boise State succeeds in other sports as well.

The only reason for college?????
