Flyfishing fans sell out the Egyptian Theatre

Packed house last night for the third year of the Flyfishing Film Tour, and no wonder. There was nearly three hours of great flyfishing including a film by Boise's own Bryan Huskey. What struck me was how well Huskey's film about Silver Creek stood up with footage from all over the world featuring some the earth's greatest fishing spots. I marveled at the the brown drake hatch on Silver Creek, a monster brown trout, and the awe-inspiring scenery. But instead of having to travel across the globe to see it, it's a two-hour drive from Boise. I loved seeing the great fishing footage from Alaska to Scotland to Belize, but it also reinforces what great fishing opportunities we have right out our back doors.
