Joining 41 Republican colleagues, Idaho Sens. Mike Crapo and Jim Risch filed a "friend of the court" brief with the U.S. Supreme Court today, questioning the individual mandate in the 2010 federal health care law.
“Instead of giving the government more power over health care, individual patients must be given more control, choice and information to make their health care decisions,” the Idaho senators said in a joint statement. “A one-size-fits-all government approach to health care would not only eliminate these freedoms, but would also result in decreased quality of care, choice and access.”

Instead of playing politics, how about working to make health care affordable for all? None of the politicians involved in the argument about the health care mandate have a thing to worry about. They won't have to worry about how they're going to be able to afford incredibly high premiums for insurance, they're covered, for life. None of you have any skin in the game. I really don't think that any of you, especially the GOP, have any real interest in taking on the health care problems that this country has. Here's the problem boys, THE MIDDLE CLASS CANNOT AFFORD IT!
Simple solution.
Put all U.S. citizens on the same health care plan that all U.S. senators and congressmen are on.
Perhaps these two
Perhaps these two knuckleheads would like to give up their platinum plated medical insurance as a start.
What happened
The mandate was a GOP idea. Why are they against it now? Oh, we must make Obama a one-term President.
