Fifth annual 'Beat Coach Pete' will be held on April 14

The fifth annual "Beat Coach Pete" Scholarship Run/Walk will be held on April 14 at 9:30 a.m. Boise State's spring football game is scheduled for the same day at 5 p.m.

The 3-mile race begins on Boise State's campus and continues on the Greenbelt. There is a post-race party.

In four years, the "Beat Coach Pete" Scholarship Run/Walk has raised more than $98,000 for scholarships.

Registration is limited to 2,000 runners and 1,500 walkers. It costs $15 for Boise State students and children (10 and under) and $25 for other participants.
