The Idaho Statesman will provide live updates from Friday's 5A District Three Tournament championship game between Centennial and Vallivue.
Centennial has won three consecutive district championships, but the two teams split their meetings during the regular season.

FIRST QUARTER: CENTENNIAL 15, VALLIVUE 11
Vallivue got four of its five field goals on the interior, while Centennial took the lead after the first frame with the help of junior guard Sherise Porchia. Porchia had two drives to the hoop at the end of the quarter to give the Patriots the advantage.
SECOND QUARTER: CENTENNIAL 30, VALLIVUE 22
The Patriots held the Falcons without a field goal for nearly 3 minutes, extending their lead to as many as 10 points. Vallivue added a pair of layups in the final 34 seconds to close the gap. Emily Stickney leads Centennial with eight points and Sierrna Short has seven. Gigi Rodriguez has five points for Vallivue and three other players have four apiece.
THIRD QUARTER: CENTENNIAL 37, VALLIVUE 35
The Falcons staged a big rally in the third quarter, led by sophomore Maddi Osburn with seven of the team's 13 points. Centennial had just one field goal, but went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line.
FOURTH QUARTER: VALLIVUE 49, CENTENNIAL 41
Vallivue outscored Centennial 14-4 in the final quarter to end the Patriots' run of three consecutive district championships. Destry Osburn led the Falcons with 10 points — including two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Centennial was paced by Sierrna Short with 11 points and Sherise Porchia added 10.
