Rick Santorum to bring GOP presidential campaign to Boise, Coeur d'Alene Tuesday

Santorum, fresh from three victories this week, will be in Coeur d'Alene and the Boise area, said Jonathan Parker, executive director of the Idaho Republican Party.

Santorum will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Capital High School auditorium.

Santorum has booked the Hagadone Events Center in Coeur d'Alene from noon to 2 p.m., and will then fly to Boise.

Santorum seeks the 32 Idaho delegates to the national convention. The front-runner he's chasing, Mitt Romney, will be in Boise for a fund-raiser Friday and is expected to also hold a public event. Details have not yet been released for any Romney rally.

Oh Boy

The clown car is unloading!!

HUH? Obama is coming? I

HUH? Obama is coming? I thought they said Santorum.

seriously

Seriously, I do not support Obama or Santorum, and Santorum is much more clownish than Obama....much more. At least Obama is rational and stable in the mind.

Agreed

Every time I turn on the television a I hear calliope music. It's like watching a bunch of clowns struggling to get the only seat on the mini motorbike.

Alrighty,

Religious nuts, mark your calendars!

Oh My

RUN, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!

Woot

I'll be ready with a sign (for a different candidate) & a camera. :-)

Lets see how civil the Rick Santorum supporters are. Its got to be better than the Obama supporters, but who knows.

We supporters will be very

We supporters will be very civil and classy..unlike, well people like you...have a great day

Huh

BBBWWWWaaaahhhhhhhAAAAA!!!!!!!!

ain't it the truth. Won't

ain't it the truth. Won't find anyone throwing glitter at Santorum OR Omumbler from the right side.

what?

What? He was not being uncivil in his comment? He thinks Obama supporters are uncivil and wonders if Santorum fans are too! You were sort of proving his point by saying what you said? By ostrasizing him with your comment.

Quiet threats are awesome!

handle your upcoming hernia well!

Dude seriously, can we hang

Dude seriously, can we hang out some time? I'll buy.

SWEET

I hope he spends a bunch of money when he's here.

Lost Cause

The LDS crowd will turn out for Romney. Santorum may get some support from the California ex-pats up north, but southern Idaho GOP politics is bought and paid for by the Mormons.

LDS?

Are you sure about that? Romney turned against them on some of their core beliefs faster than a Boston terrier after a bouncing ball. He upset a LOT of the faithful with his little stint in Mass, proving that he is a Mormon in name only (who also happens to be buying influence in the church and out of the church).

What

are you talking about?

Narrow minds speak

loudly

Santorum coming to Idaho?

Idaho's new reputation as being a far right extremist state must be gaining ground.

He doesn't believe in birth control and would force women/girls to complete a pregnancy even if they were a victim of rape and incest.

He wants to repeal DADT and does not believe in equal rights for gays/lesbians.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was treated to a ticker tape in today's extreme Ideehoe.

Cannot U Read?

The headline & story says he is coming, as for that "New" reputation who are you BSing? You've been going on about it for years it ain't new, just espousing that tells me here we go again. Zeke Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah...

And quit with the lies about birth control it's like calling Idaho women stupid and I really take offense at it, as if women in this state cannot make good decisions Rick Santorum or No! What are you some fly on the stink at the Santorum Party, ya got some inside Houdini magic about "He"

And no he won't be getting any parade, but you can give him one in your mind if it pleases you. I'm wanting to see him in the paper waving with his other hand, so Idahoans get the feel of what mechanized politizing looks like and not just your schmancy overkill. Zeke!

Oh, yah the majority of

Oh, yah the majority of people in this republican discriminatory state will probably welcome him with open arms

Yea, your right. Santorum is

Yea, your right. Santorum is a good one to keep in mind in case Gingrich doesn't work out. Thanks for reminding me how qualified he is :)

Gingrich isn't going to "work out"

I like Gingrich and he is the most qualified to be president but he's on wife #3 and she looks just like a stepford wife. The Democrats will have a hay day with him. During the caucus I would like to be supporting Paul but since he has zero chance of winning nationally I'm going to have to look to Santorum.

He has zero chance because

He has zero chance because of all the people willing to walk quietly the other way with their tail between their legs. There is still a chance if people actually vote their minds instead of listening to the media and falling in line. If they were right about everything why are you even bothering to go to the caucus at all, Romney already won before the first real vote.

People turn their backs on

People turn their backs on Ron Paul because the more they learn about him, the more they realize he is no different then any other mainstream Republican. The fact the he is running for the Republican nomination contends that he no longer sees the libertarian party as a viable. This two party system is a sham.

Amazing

How in a red state all the blue posters that come out of the woodwork.

Blue

The blue posters outnumber the red posters on this site....

"The blue posters outnumber

"The blue posters outnumber the red posters on this site...."

They always do on a liberal site. Hello! :)

liberal!!!

IS.com is liberal! Give me a break. Just because IS.com does not perpetuate the Iran War drum and Christian theocracy does not mean they are liberal.

close

No, they are liberal because of the one sided nature of the topics covered. One need not be biased in how they cover a topic, but may be biased simply by ignoring everything they do not want seen. In choosing what to cover, they display their editorial policies and how that influences the non-opinion coverage.

Lie down, son! You're mixed up and palpatating

Believe in yourself. At least you won't troll yourself in blogs.

No fan but glad he's coming to Idaho

I'm no fan of Santorum but am glad to see presidential candidates coming to Idaho.

Yes, it's good to be on the electoral map for once

I'm glad to see them coming here as well.

Just what we don't need

The clown car is right, those repuglicans are all about as repulsive as you can get.

LOL

Hopefully the Santorum motorcade will drive by the grassy knoll.

That's out of line

I'm no Santorum fan either -- on every Republican issue, he represents the opposite of what I believe in -- but that's no reason to wish the man ill, pianoman1. This is the USA. He's entitled to free speech too, even if he wants a theocracy that would deny it to you or me.

wow

IP addresses are very easy to follow. I hope the FBI comes tracking you down.

Grassy knoll? Would that be the site where......

Occupy Boise is camped out?

Yah, you should do well here

Yah, you should do well here Santorum, welcome to "Idaho the State of Prejudice and Discrimination" - The Mormon State, The Anti-gay State. Oh, well, it shouldn't have surprised me what the state senate did today, after all, there is no Martin Luther King Day in Idaho, it's the hypocritical Idaho Human Rights Day...

That's funny

coming from someone who supports the Klan party: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=30f_1320727552

EPIC

FAIL.

I'm still voting for the black guy who can sing.

Simon Estes is running for

Simon Estes is running for president?

Seeing how the Obama administration prefers hip-hop artists, it would be refreshing to have a real male vocalist in the White House. Estes has performed for six U.S. presidents, but Obama only used him as a prop to sing the national anthem at a 2008 campaign rally. I'm not aware that he has ever invited Estes to perform in the White House, which seems a shame in light of his international reputation.

Simon Estes? Deon Estes? Stevie Wonder, McCartney have.

When is Nana Mouskouri getting a gig?

Pop singers are fine, but a

Pop singers are fine, but a world-famous baritone whose grandfather was a slave and who can sing jazz and gospel as well as classical music would bring a multi-cultural blend of music and American history to the White House that no other living artist can. Certainly not McCartney who is both white and British.

Nana retired in 2008, but she was a UN ambassador...

who took over for Audrey Hepburn after she died.

Nana is Greek and sang in many languages...

HEY!!! You Wiki and save my wrists...what am I, a computer?

I don't care whose melanin it is!

That's stupid!
