Bishop Kelly High girls soccer team receives national recognition

The Bishop Kelly High girls soccer team finished the 2011 season ranked No. 24 in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The Knights, who won back-to-back 4A state championships and are unbeaten in 46 games, received a plaque this week from the NSAAA.

“Some of the schools mentioned in the top 10 are pretty notable schools,” BK coach Curtis Eisenberger said. “We thought that was pretty awesome that we were mentioned in the same category.”
