The Idaho Statesman will provide live updates after each quarter from Tuesday's Middleton at Bishop Kelly girls basketball game. Going into Tuesday's game, Middleton sits atop the 4A Southern Idaho Conference with a 12-0 league record, while Bishop Kelly is tied for second with Skyview at 10-2. (BK owns the tiebreaker over Skyview since it swept the Hawks this season). Counting Tuesday's games, each team has four games remaining in the regular season.

FIRST QUARTER: MIDDLETON 7, BISHOP KELLY 4

After both teams played tough defense in the first frame, Middleton comes away with the slim lead. Middleton sophomore post D'Rae Tullock leads all scorers with three points.

SECOND QUARTER: MIDDLETON 23, BISHOP KELLY 10

Middleton took control of the game in the second quarter, scoring 13 unanswered points. Bishop Kelly scored its first basket of the second quarter on a drive by senior forward Randi McReynolds. Bishop Kelly's Abby Talboy completed a rare four-point play when she was fouled on a made 3-pointer and then converted on the ensuing free throw with 10.2 seconds to play before the break. Middleton's Tullock continues to lead all scorers with 11 points.

THIRD QUARTER: MIDDLETON 37, BISHOP KELLY 20

The Vikings maintained their double-digit lead, but the Knights started to find their rhythm near the end of the third quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER: MIDDLETON 49, BISHOP KELLY 29

Middleton's D'Rae Tullock led all scorers with 15 points. Bishop Kelly got eight points apiece from Randi McReynolds and Abby Talboy.
