This Friday you can get a piece of art with your soup at the annual Empty Bowls event held on the Grove Plaza. The event is a fundraiser for the Idaho Foodbank. Throughout the year the Idaho Foodbank collects handcrafted and handpainted bowls from professional artists and amateur artisans. This year the organization got a surprise when artist Steph Nyman donated 100 pieces of glass art to the event. "We came in Monday morning and there were these boxes,"said Shawna Stonehocker, event coordinator at the Idaho Foodbank. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..
