The 10-team Mountain West will play eight league games in 2012 and 2013, meaning each school will miss one opponent in those years.
(Note: In 2011, the Mountain West has eight members and each will play the other seven schools in football.)
The Mountain West released its complete conference schedules for 2012 and 2013 on Tuesday.
Boise State
Will miss: Air Force
2012 home games: Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, UNLV

A look at Boise State's future schedules
2012:
Home games: Miami (Ohio), BYU, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, UNLV
Road games: Michigan State, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming
2013:
Home games: Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming
Road games: Washington, BYU, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, UNLV
Boise State has room for two more game in 2012 and two more in 2013. Boise State needs a marquee home game in 2013 — and probably has room to go on the road in 2012.

It appears that this is a very incomplete schedule
Would it take up too much space on the computer to show the entire conference?
Schedule ...
... it is up to each school to release its schedule. I have requested the schedules from every school in the conference. These are the ones that have responded so far. I will post as soon as I get the rest.
Thanks, murph
Hey Murph
Not to beat a dead horse, but what do you think the chances that BSU gets Idaho for a couple of home games in 2012 2013, since we now have an extra date.
Noooooooo!
Tfunk, let it die man let it die! Lets not open that can of worms again!
Let's be real
here P2. I not saying take Idaho over Oregon State or any team at that level. But Idaho (a sure sell-out) is a far better choice than a Utah state or a Toledo.
Even you have to admit that.
I'd rather play Weber State.
----------
Just because it's a WORLD wide web doesn't mean anybody past Jordan Valley cares! Get drunk and give us that crappy singing voice we missed.
'you' ....would rather play Weber St?
didn't know you were on the roster
No tfunk I dont have to admit that.
from a attendance standpoint for 1 game you are correct. From a football perspective there are many other schools BSU should be looking at for those dates. Of course a PAC whatever would be desireable but even a BYU, or a sunbelt school would be better. How about a big twelve school. Heck boston college for a rematch on the blue would be awesome.
You missed the part where
I said Idaho would not replace a PAC2 (or Big 12 or BYU), they would be in place of a Sun Belt, MAC, or FCS team.
For example, in 2012 we have @MSU, Miami (OH), BYU. I think Idaho fits well in there. The two open dates follow MSU and BYU, makes sense, maximizes our revenue.
In 2013 we have BYU and Washington on the road. Again, an Idaho fits well in there as well along maybe a home and with C-USA team.
You can give up getting a Sun Belt team up here for a one and done. They are getting $850K-$1M from SEC teams with little travel costs. No way BSU can afford that.
You must also remember, the BCS schools will require and home-and-home at a minimum, more probably a 2-1.
I know you don't like Idaho, I get that, but the number of Idaho alumni in the valley and the guarantied sellout, make it good for BSU.
BSU should be selling out no matter what but that is an
argument for another day. I think that bringing in UI is a mistake. BSU has made no secret that it wishes to distance itself from the UI. And being such a hot topic I think it is too soon to do this. Honestly in 2012 and 2013 I hope we have better football conversation than resurrecting the old home and home, 2 for 1, 12 in a row, when will BSU go to the kibbie.... blah blah blah. Its time to step up and act like the big boy we all wish we will be. UI is not interested in a only at BSU every once in a while when BSU needs a sellout game. And I think we should respect that. 2012,2013 these are years that can change the landscape of football. Will the MWC be granted a BCS waiver? Will the MWC be the class of the non AQs? Will the big 12 ever come calling for BSU? UI on the blue does nothing for this. Even scheduling a low range sun belt team is better for BSU. The more wins over the more conferences and the more diversity BSU can put together the better. BSU UI is ignored by everyone. BSU toledo at least gets in another states newspaper.
We can agree to disagree
no problem in that......
