2:27 p.m. — FINAL: Coeur d'Alene 28, Capital 24

2:24 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 28, Capital 24: Quarterback Chad Chalich scored on a 2-yard run after Coeur d'Alene blocked a Capital punt to take the lead with 29 seconds remaining.

1:52 p.m. — End of third quarter: Capital 24, Coeur d'Alene 21

1:30 p.m. — Capital 24, Coeur d'Alene 21: Jordan Storrs caught his second touchdown pass, this time a 16-yarder from Riley Mager to give Capital its first lead. Magner then ran in for the 2-point conversion to push its lead to three points. 8:52 remaining in the third quarter.

1:05 p.m. — Halftime: Coeur d'Alene 21, Capital 16

It looked like Capital was going to get run of their home field by their foes from the North, but the Eagle bounced back with 10 unanswered points to trim the Vikings' lead to five points at halftime. Zach Keiser is leading Coeur d'Alene's attack with 13 carries for 174 yards and all three of his team's touchdowns. Capital is led by running back Jordan Storrs, who has one carry for a loss of one yard, but he has five receptions for 96 yards and a 38-yard touchdown. Quarterback Riley Magner has completed 10-of-13 passes for 186 yards and two TD passes — the other one a 27-yarder to Michael Howard.

1:02 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 21, Capital 16: Capital kicker Stephen Shaw kicked a 20-yard field goal with 9 seconds remaining in the first half to trim Coeur d'Alene's lead to five points. Capital had the chance to score, because Marcus Tovar ran for eight yards on a fake punt at midfield to keep the scoring drive alive.

12:45 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 21, Capital 13: Capital wide receiver Jordan Storrs caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from Riley Magner to keep the Eagles close with 8:10 remaining in the first half.

12:40 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 21, Capital 6: Zach Keiser has a hat trick of touchdowns and the game's only 14 minutes old. The Vikings' running back has 10 carries for 157 yards and three touchdowns. 10:15 remaining in the second quarter.

12:35 p.m. — End of first quarter

12:20 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 14, Capital 6: Zach Keiser scored his second touchdown today on a 40-yard run. The running back has five carries for 107 yards to put Capital on its heals. 5:37 remains in the first quarter.

12:15 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 7, Capital 6: Michael Howard caught a 27-yard touchdown pass to match Coeur d'Alene's score, but the Eagles missed the point-after try to remain behind. 7:58 remains in the first quarter.

12:05 p.m. — Coeur d'Alene 7, Capital 0: Capital got Coeur d'Alene in a third-and-10, but the Vikings converted a third-down play to trigger a six-play, 76-yard touchdown drive for the early lead. Zach Keiser scored the TD on a 35-yard run. 11:08 remains in the first quarter.

11:55 a.m. — Coeur d'Alene will receive the opening kickoff at noon.
