I like to see my cell phone and if I have any calls while I'm surfing a wave in my whitewater canoe. Roger laughs at me for even having a cell phone in my canoe.
Anyway, I like waterproof cases that have a clear lid so you can see your phone. I've got a waterproof case for my iPod, too. Sometimes you just want to listen to the Rolling Stones when you are zoned out on a wave.
I haven't tried texting on a wave, yet.
So, I'm always interested in waterproof cases and I got a note about some that are put out by Seattle Sports.
The company's line is called DryDocs. The cases are for cell phones, cameras, MP3 players, laptop computers, e-readers and iPads.
By storing each gadget in a DryDocs™ case you can ensure that sand, snow and water are kept away from sensitive electronic circuits, according to the company. DryDocs™ cases also are designed to allow you to continue to use your devices while keeping them safe and protected. Texting on a wave?
Prices range from $9.95 to around $40, depending on the model. They can be seen at REI.
