Support local poets (and have a nice time) through 'Performances at the Depot'

The Performances at the Depot live reading series continues, Monday nights and Sunday afternoons, at the old Boise Depot, a spot to see, be seen, and think about local history as the city stretches out below you.

All this, and poetry, too (oh, and it's free).

Here's the line-up:  

Poets at the Depot: open mike and featured poets.
July 25, 2010   Sun.      1 and 3 pm
July 26, 2010   Mon.        6 pm.

Aug 22, 2010   Sun.      1 and 3 pm
Aug. 23, 2010   Mon.       6 pm.
 
Note: Keep your ears open. Curb Cup is coming up Aug. 29.  Several poets will be performing there.

Here's what you need to know, whether you're interested in reading or listening:  

Performers check in 20 min. before any performance, the event is free and open to the public for tower tours and historical displays as well. The Boise Train Depot is at 2603 W. Eastover Terrace and Capital Blvd.
