Former Boise High distance runner headed to NCAA finals

Yale sophomore Anne Lovelace, a 2008 Boise High graduate, qualified to run the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon on June 9-12.

She finished third in one of three heats in 10 minutes, 32.92 seconds to earn one of 12 spots from the East Preliminaries on Saturday in Greensboro, N.C. She holds the Yale record in the event (10:27:60).
