Former Boise State cornerback Kyle Wilson has grabbed the attention of NFL Draft analysts during the first two days of Senior Bowl practices in Mobile, Ala.
NFL Network’s Mike Mayock, in fact, has named Wilson the No. 2 prospect at cornerback behind Joe Haden of Florida.
Wilson was an instant hit Monday, the first day of practices for Saturday’s game, which gives top prospects a chance to compete in front of NFL coaches and scouts. Some bloggers called him the North team MVP and “brilliant.”
He impressed again Tuesday.
“Wilson continues to shine, showcasing impressive physicality off the line in press (coverage) while maintaining his balance and quickly closing on the football,” according to National Football Post. “Looks like the nation’s top senior corner.”
The Senior Bowl airs at 2 p.m. Saturday on the NFL Network.
Wilson told the Idaho Statesman on Tuesday that he has received an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine. His invitation was delayed because the organizers had an incorrect e-mail address, a problem that affected several prospects around the country.

Two former Boise State football players are set to play in the Pro Bowl this weekend — the first time a former Bronco has earned that honor since Dave Wilcox in 1973.
Denver Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady and Philadelphia Eagles safety Quintin Mikell made this year's Pro Bowl. Clady ended his Boise State career in 2007; Mikell wrapped up his career in 2002.
Wilcox played for Boise Junior College, so Clady and Mikell are the first Boise State representatives. Wilcox is the father of defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox.
The Pro Bowl airs at 5:30 p.m. Sunday on ESPN.

Now that Bronco Sports Properties has doled out the TV and radio rights, its next major project is to line up corporate sponsorships. Most of Boise State's sponsorships expire this summer.
Getting the TV and radio deals finalized was important because BSP can sell sponsorships that include ad time on the game broadcasts.
"We're also evaluating any other potential upgrades we can do to enhance sponsorships (like additional signage)," said Dan Hawley, the general manager of Bronco Sports Properties.

...ah, bloodlines.
...never knew the two Wilcox men were related, shame on me. Now it all really makes sense. The apple has not fallen far from the tree. Thanks again for sticking around Justin, your hard work is appreciated.

K-Dub 3 solo tackles, 3 assists, 6 total and 1 punt return
Kyle dominated Senior Bowl practices and as a result, he wasn't tested all that much in the game. He did get 3 solo tackles and assited on 3 others for a total of six tackles though.
On kicks, it appears that the South's game plan was not to kick to Wilson. however, he did manage to return one squib kick for 8 yards
