BOYS BASKETBALL

Tyson Percifield, Mountain View: The junior score 11 points in a 58-22 victory against Emmett on Wednesday, but he was just getting warmed up for career-best outing Friday night against Meridian. He scored 42 points on 11-for-19 shooting to help the Mavericks register their first 5A Southern Idaho Conference victory this season.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Shanee McBride, Vallivue: The Falcon scored 16 points and had six rebounds in a 59-33 victory against Rocky Mountain on Thursday, then added 10 points and 11 rebounds in a 40-27 win against Timberline on Saturday. The Falcons improved to 4-6 overall and 3-5 in 5A SIC competition with the victories.

WRESTLING

Colby Kloetzer, Caldwell: The Cougars' 152-pound wrestler registered two quick victories prior to the Buck's Bags Duals late in the week. He pinned Centennial's Jon Fisher in 58 seconds on Tuesday, then pinned Eagle's David Ryan in 1 minute on Wednesday. Caldwell won both duals and finished seventh at the Buck's Bags Duals on Saturday.
