Maybe, but I don't listen to her all the same.

NBC copyright...
Deeds, So what was the message from NBC?
I can't believe these major media company do not 'get it' when it comes to Internet use. Whats' the difference between talking about SNL at the watercooler and posting a youtube clip?
It ALL creates buzz and gets people to talk about and think about the product! That is an advertising department's success.
So while we all like Taylor Swift, we can all agree how we can NOT like big corporate pukes like NBC!
HULU and NBC Universal have the rights to the clip...
They can and they do ask You Tube to remove the clips they deem infringing. Universal Music can do the same.
If the parrties here had a distribution agreement with the copyright holder they could display it without going through You Tube as an intermediary via some dude who did not have permission to do so.
Rather than pulling an entire clip, You Tube may remove parts of the audio or video that violate terms and place a note saying such on the page. In this case the entire file was in violation, hence it was pulled. Partial blocking can be remedied by placing non-violating content in the place of the disputed parts. Complete violations can result in suspension or closing of an account.
You Tube is convenient, true. It's still a crapshoot and while I do not post material not created by me I am regularly excising favorite clips that are pulled. Some are pulled to prevent overexposure or they were a limited time post.
Through arrangements with media outlets and advertising added to content among other things a member can continue to post a file with the okay of the originator.
Being a member, I have come to understand these things although I'm still frustrated by a lot of it. Without these changes You Tube would probably be in the Internet scrapheap. There is no guarantee it won't be there still.

CMA Award
Entertainer of the Year- Taylor Swift.
That shows the power of millions of teenager girls.
True, but most likely it shows how hard she works and talent.
According to what I read Darius Rucker has had three chart topping songs from that first album also. What possibly helped tip the balance was that Taylor has had a larger body of work and chart success as a country artist as well. I'm not knocking Darius at all as he could sing nearly anything well (short of Nirvana or Alice in Chains) and his voice is simply incredible.
Don't add the Kanye Factor in because voting took place well before the Stupid Attack.
I watched some of the show and thought Kenny and...oh wait I'll go get her name, just woke up...okay, Carrie Underwood, and don't razz my memory as they seem to do the Hee Haw Humor thing well and did an excellent job. I've seen this routine done previously by folks who had the flow of a bad transmission and sounded like they were learning to read with the cue cards.
The mini-roast of Ronnie Brooks and Kix Dunn was brilliant. I enjoyed what I watched. I didn't see the big award and I did see one of Taylor's performances, which was fine but it's not my kind of country. Taylor was deserving (if you get the votes you are deserving anyway) and I'm happy for her.
It has not been proven that Kanye was BDuck2009, however.
