Borah graduate Nicole Nielsen earns Mountain West honor

BYU freshman Nicole Nielsen, a 2009 Borah High graduate, was named Mountain West women’s cross country freshman of the year after an 11th-place finish at the conference championship meet.

Nielsen was the Idaho Gatorade girls cross country athlete of the year in 2007-08 and was the Idaho Gatorade girls track and field athlete of the year in 2006-07 and 2007-08.
