While writing our Eagle City Council endorsements (which will appear in Wednesday's paper), I couldn't help but notice a typo on the cover page of the city's 2009-10 budget report.
According to the report, the council approved the report on Sept. 8, 2098.
Now that's working ahead.

Typo
A former Statesman writer must have composed the cover to the City of Eagle Budget Report.
Just to highlight my point, I borrow from your subsequent post:
"..a debate about whether businesses owners should serve on the council."
There are typos, there's typing faster than than thinking, there's bad writing, there's poor grammar, and there's poor logic in writing. The Statesman displays all the above on any given day amongst the pool of writer. Heck, most of these problems can be found in any of Rocky's pos-ts.
