Sunday Snowday

No, these aren't file photos from February.

The storm that blew through southern Idaho late Saturday and Sunday brought some serious white stuff to elevations above 5,000 feet. Brian Buckner brought his family – wife Stephanie and daughters Loren, 12, and Ashley, 15 (pictured), and dogs Riley and Carson (pictured) – up to Bogus Basin to play in the snow for his birthday. With an October 4th birthday, Brian, now 49, said he's never experienced it in the snow. "This is kinda neat," he said.

And it wasn't just a light dusting, either. This was a bring-your-snow-boots caliber dumping.
