Tailbacks like new rotation; Percy thrives in debut

Boise State’s new philosophy on the tailback rotation was a hit with the top two runners.
The Broncos plan to let juniors Jeremy Avery and D.J. Harper stay on the field for extended periods without substituting, allowing them to get into more of a rhythm.
The past two years, the Broncos rotated tailbacks constantly and players said it was difficult to get into the flow of the game.
“It’s a lot easier,” said Harper, who rushed 19 times for 88 yards in the opener against Oregon. “You start to get a better feel for where things are going to be, how things are going to happen.”
Avery had a career-high 27 carries for 74 yards.

Freshman linebacker J.C. Percy, a former walk-on from Blackfoot, is listed as the co-starter on the weak side this week. Percy shared playing time with Aaron Tevis last week but was technically the backup.
The two linebackers forced Oregon's two turnovers in a span of three plays. Tevis grabbed an interception; Percy forced a fumble.
"I was down (on the field) every game last year and I've never heard the stadium that loud," Percy said. "That was neat. ... I don't even know how to describe the feeling I had."

Miami (Ohio) needs a much-improved performance this week from quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh, who was 13-of-34 with two interceptions last week in a shutout loss to Kentucky.
Raudabaugh started for portions of the last two seasons, so his poor performance was unexpected.
"I've just got to be a better decision-maker," Raudabaugh said. "I've got to protect the football. ... Last week, I made some mistakes that fifth-year seniors that have played a lot of football shouldn't make."

Heck yeah!!!!
My throat still hurts. I'm glad somebody heard me.
Maimi (Oh-Sh!+)
Bronco's D is going to roll this team. I hope the O cleans itself up. This team should give them that chance. UO was a Pac 10 D and very fast which didn't let BSU get into a rhythm. A-lot of mistakes were made now time to clean that up. Go Boise.
Miami (Oh-Sh!+)
Is that what the t-shirts for this game say? I haven't seen them yet.
Shakin the dew off the Lilly
No Lilly but that would be great!! Here's a good one: Another bird bites the dust on the Blue.
I can't think of a better
I can't think of a better one. :-)
I don't know about that???
I don't think Oregon caused more problems than BSU themselves. Kellen needs to learn how to handle a snap under center. BSU shot itself in the foot more than Oregon created problems.
Let's all hope....
The Broncos should win easily, let's hope BYU lays an egg soon. It could happen against FSU at home in a few weeks. I think the problem with our scheduling is being addressed, I just wish we could have one more BCS team on our schedual before bowl season.
GO BRONCOS.
