Ashley Judd urges people to write Obama to cancel Idaho's hunt

Ashley Judd provides the voice for a new video by Defenders of Wildlife urging President Obama to stop Idaho's wolf hunt. The video contains all the the elements, dead wolves,pups howling, Gov. Butch Otter saying he wants the first tag and a bonus, Anti-Wolf activist Ron Gillett.
Their idea is that Obama would overrule Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and give in to their lawsuit, which would put the wolf back on the endangered species list.

Um, what about States' Rights?
If Obama does anything with this, he is (once again) overstepping his authority as President. In fact, in a related story, I don't understand why a Montana Judge should even be looking at this case. He doesn't have jurisdiction in Idaho. So, who cares what he rules?

Any other federal court district could be called to review a ruling also, couldn't they?

Not really
Federal Judges do not have the auhority to change any ruling they want. Unless this judge is in an appeals court, he has no jurisdiction. Therefore, he needs to stay out of this issue and let Idaho conduct themselves as they see fit.

Ashley, have you ever seen what a pack of wolves will do to a calfing dear or elk? the blood brings them in deer; and the defenseless calf and dam are torn to shreds. We have to control this most successful hunter. When they run out the game animals they will come after livestock, pets, and people.
