Mother Hips to play two concerts next week

If you’ve been slacking off on your Alive After Five attendance this summer, jump back on the horse next week. One of the season’s best bands — definitely one of the most proven — will take the stage for some California rockin’ in the Grove: The Mother Hips are a veteran San Francisco act that really should have been bigger when they peaked in the 1990s. Young ’uns may recognize the Hips from the video game “Rock Band”; the song “Time We Had” is a bonus track.
Besides performing at Alive After Five on Wednesday, Aug. 26, the Mother Hips also will play at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Bouquet, 1010 Main St. Cover is $6.

Two Concerts?
You mention two concerts but only list one. Where is the second one? Perhaps at Common Ground in McCall on Friday, August 28?
The Friday show is also a fund raiser for the McCall Folklore Society's Summer Music Festival.
Alive After Five?
You must have skimmed over that part. I'll add the specific date to make it clearer. But, yes, the Hips also will play in McCall next Friday.
