Must say I disagree with Craig James' assessment that replacing Ian Johnson is the biggest question mark for the Broncos. I think the No. 1 question for the Broncos is offensive line play, followed by interior defensive line play.

The biggest question mark for the Broncos?
The running game produced 45 yards in the 1st scrimmage. That might be why ESPN's Craig James picked up on it. It certainly is a question mark, but may not be the biggest. We do need a strong running game to keep the passing honest. We also need a good offensive line to open the holes and give Moore time to throw. We need to score early and often against Oregon. ESPN's Mark May still lacks respect for BSU.
I DON'T THINK
he lacks respect honestly most of these guys look at BSU intel about as much as most of us look at UO. The majority of their takes are based on an overview not actual facts. I don't blame them, its like espn non AQ blogger Graham Watson she has to cover like 50 to 60 teams.... real hard to actually have a knowledgeable take on 50 to 60 teams.
I've said it before
The biggest question is whether or not Boise State will rest on its laurels midway through the 3rd Quarter, allowing their opponents to get back into the games. We started to coast in the Fiesta Bowl when the score was 28-10, and almost lost. We started to coast against Oregon when we were up 34-13, and could have lost.
I suggest Coach Peterson have them run up the score (as much as possible), and relax ONLY when Boise has a 20-point lead AND there are less than 5 minutes left in the game. If those 2 conditions don't apply, they need to play as if it's the 1st Quarter.
No Fred, the biggest question is...
...will Lamont get the truck back so he can go buy another bottle of ripple for you and Grady.
You are such a tool, just like the rest of BJC fans. You actually believe that because you won last year when the stars, planets. backup qb's, misssed kicks, injured players and turnovers all lined up in a row for your 5 point win.
Can't wait for the whuppin to commence, and when you and Grady sober up call up Rollo to find out nhow much you lost by.

Here is an interesting stat for your so called pac 10 conference
The Wac went 3-4 against you in 2008. so pretty much even. The MWC went 6-2 against your conference. The BIG 12 went 3-1 versus pac 10.
HEY BDUCK
one of the biggest turnovers in the game last year was Kellen's fumbled handoff in the 4th that gave UO the ball back down 13. If you remember correctly BSU was driving once again and would've had a chance to put it away. Instead they once again helped UO get back in it and make it closer than it should've been.
Hmm...
You mean the fumble that happened right after Thomas' stupid interception in BSU territory and return by Kyle Wilson that costed the Ducks the game? BSU wasn't driving. They had a big return then lost it. Get your facts stright.
And please. No turnovers means the Ducks win by 28. With two experienced QB's..and one other one that easily lit up the BSU defense, BSU should be handled. It won't be easy..BSU is tough..but the Ducks are just that tougher when they have a QB.
Question Mark
Offensive line probably was the biggest Question Mark, but the defensive line's exclamation mark is starting to bend a little. Stopping Oregon's run game will be paramount to Boise's success. A team that runs a spread-option and has a bruising back to-boot, means the defensive front will need to do a good job of gobbling up blockers to free up LB's and the secondary to make plays. With the injuries and suspensions on the d-line it's a little cause for concern...but only a little...don't get me wrong...I still like poultry with blueberry sauce.
That was good to watch.
Wow what a prediction, BCS buster, but Fresno being the second toughest challenge? I wouldn't overlook Nevada.
If this guy was on the team he would soon work at Stinker.
We don't win any games until we win them.

Mark May
I know of nowhere that Masoli "vowed a victory" over Boise St. May's comment may be just ESPN's way of trying to ramp up interest in their telecast of the game.
It's all part of the Dizzy family circus. PTUI

Here's a fun fact...
Despite ignorant BSU fans declaring their football supremecy...they are still ranked 3rd in the pathetic WAC at putting people in the NFL. You have 14 players currently on NFL teams. Hawaii and Fresno State both have over 9 players more than you in the big leagues.
Not to mention..out of the western mid-majors, BSU is 7th in NFL players behind Utah, TCU, BYU, and San Diego State. San Jose State and Colorado State are right behind with 12 and 13 respectively.
Good coaching you may say? Possibly. But thank you...many of your coaches came from Oregon anyways. BSU is just a gadget team that would only have the ability to pull of 1 big upset a year, Hence their schedule. Play in a BCS conference? By week 2, BSU would be in a lot of trouble.
Give
us BCS recruits and Phil's generous donations and then we'll talk otherwise just sit back and watch your Ducks try to steel a win from the Bronco's in Boise this year. It will be hard and almost impossible. Good luck Duck.
