Glitter, construction paper, pencils, backpacks: school supply drive is on

Family Advocates, 100.3, Office Max bring in the school supplies

Stop by Office Max, 2509 Broadway Ave., between 11a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday, and be part of a drive to make sure kids in need in the community start their school year right. All supplies will be put to good use, including backpacks, glitter, construction paper, kid's scissors, glue sticks, rulers, crayons, markers, paper (multi-purpose copy paper, cardstock: white, red, neon green or yellow), pens (black, blue, red), highlighters, pencils,  giftcards, etc.

And, anyone who donates can sign up to win two tickets to see Marilyn Manson on Sept. 4 at the Knitting Factory or two tickets to X-Fest (featuring Mudvayne, Zakk Wylde, Static X and more) Aug. 18 at the Idaho Center Amphitheater.

If you don’t know a lot about the work Family Advocates does in the community, know that the nonprofit organization serves more than 1000 children and families each year in the Treasure Valley through two important programs:

1.  Children in foster care are paired with a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) who advocates for them as they navigate the confusing world of the child protection system.
2.  Parent Educators from the Families First program help parents develop the skills to give their children the best possible start in life.

It's sad that Korn wasn't available.

There is no life in Idaho...it is a mirror site on god's server. You were dreaming but it is over. Go to your residence and await our commands and THEN we will restore control...
