YMCA Team Idaho athlete wins two more national titles

YMCA Team Idaho’s Joseph Delgado, a freshman at Ontario (Ore.) High, won national titles in the youth boys 200-meter hurdles and long jump at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Delgado won the 200 hurdles in 25.38 seconds and soared 21 feet, 6.25 inches in the long jump. He also placed seventh in the 100 hurdles in 14.37. Delgado also won the pentathlon championship on Tuesday with a youth boys meet record of 3,548 points.
