Fire at Table Rock

Firefighters respond to a grassfire at Table Rock on Monday night at about 11:30pm that blackened the area in front of the cross before crews were able to extinguish the flames. I found out about this fire thanks to a Tweet from my friend Lisa. »

Too bad...
It is too bad that this area gets abused so much. It is bad enough that every kid sneaks up there to drink and throw their glass bottles over the edge of the rocks. Now, they are likely throwing cigarette butts and possibly fireworks as well.
They should begin cracking down on these vandals and make them perform their community service picking up litter and broken glass, power washing the graffiti, and performing trail maintenence.
It's too bad there are no shots of the actual fire.
This is why they invented SCANNERS.
