Timberline hires former assistant to coach girls soccer

Former assistant Chandlar Davis was hired as Timberline High's girls soccer coach, the Boise School District announced Thursday.

Davis served last year as an assistant under Mike Kenner, who led the Wolves to their second consecutive 5A state championship in a one-year stint as head coach.

A graduate of Southwest Baptist College where she played two seasons, Davis has coached U13 and U14 girls for Idaho Rush soccer club since May 2007. She currently plays for the FC Boise Blitz of the amateur Women's Premier Soccer League, and is working toward her U.S. Soccer Federation C license, according to the district.

The Wolves have won four state championships (1998, 1999, 2007 and 2008) since the school first opened its doors in the fall of 1998.
