Shameless plug for Southwest Idaho Camping Guide

Zimo and I spent a good part of the winter putting this book together, and now we are excited for people to get out and use it.

We dug into our archives, dredged our memories of past camping trips and came up with 45 camping spots from Riggins to Bruneau and Brownlee to Sun Valley.

There are actually quite a few more than 45 campgrounds because many areas, such as Lake Cascade, have multiple campgrounds.

The book is full of camping tips, recipes, buyer's guides for camping equipment, information about yurt rentals, and more.

You can check it out at local book stores and sporting goods shops or buy directly from The Statesman in the front lobby at 1200 N. Curtis Road just south of the connector. The price is $15.95 plus tax.

Weekend weather is supposed to get into the 70s, so it's a great time to get your camping season started.

Camping Guide

Good morning gents,
I picked up the camping guide yesterday and pretty much read the whole thing last night. You guys did an outstanding job providing good insight on the camping spots and the travel required to get there.

As a new transplant from MT, the guide will be a great help with getting to know the area. I look forward to hitting as many of the spots as we can this summer!
