Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d'Alene, was the object of ire and adoration the last few days as he brought forward successful bills to cut spending on school transportation and teacher retirement.
Friday he rose to introduce another bill on schools.
"This is the last time you'll hear from me this week," Nonini quipped, getting a few laughs from lawmakers.
"I actually thought there would be more applause," Nonini said. "Maybe I should bring a few more bills forward."
That prompted Minority Leader John Rusche to stand and say "Mr. Speaker, I object."

Yeah he is funny like the plague. He and Luna are the worst thing to ever happen to Education in the State of Idaho. We were at 47th before. They have assured us 50th after today. They should be ashamed of themselves. They have used their hatred for organized labor to under mine and destroy each and ever persons ability to give their children and grand children a better education. Shame on both of you Dinosaurs. We need to show every person who voted for these cuts next election what we think of their votes. This will not be the last they hear from the IEA, NEA, Parents, Teachers, Businesses. All the people they left out of the process. The stake holders.
