I saw a mention of this on another blog this morning (hat tip to the unequivocal notion.) I had to see for myself.
I'm stunned.
Verbatim from Bryan Fischer of the Idaho Values Alliance:
You by now will have read about the plane crash in Montana which took the lives of 14 people. What you may not have read is that among the victims were members of Bud Feldkamp’s family, including two of his daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. Feldkamp, it turns out, is the owner of the nation’s largest privately owned, for-profit abortion chain. His clinics perform more abortions in California even than Planned Parenthood. The plane, in another tragically ironic twist, crashed in a Roman Catholic cemetery which contains a memorial to victims of abortion, the ‘Tomb of the Unborn.’ Pro-lifers had prayed for years in front of his mansion, pleading with him and praying for him to repent and warning him for his children’s sake that, “If you do not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.”
There's a lot I could say, but I really have nothing to add. This passage speaks volumes.

Bryan's take on The Gospel of Christ seems to me to be more in line with the wrathful God of the Old Testament. It is also an attitude that grieves me as a Christian. I'm sorry, Bryan, but presuming upon God's judgment in this instance not only stands against my discernment of the God of the New Testament that Christ revealed, it also displays a frightening lack of humility before God...unless, of course, you mean to imply that God has vouchsafed you some special knowledge of His intentions. The thought of people who identify themselves as Christians praying that "bloodshed will pursue you" sounds like the worst of those behaviors we too often ascribe to Islamic extremists.
You hit it on the head. He is an Extremist. Just a Christian one
Only difference is he uses his 'alliance' instead of bombs. But the motivation is the same. Make the government over in his narrow view of how god wants it to be.
Of course the other possibility is that he is a complete fraud that has figured out how to swindle people into supporting him, all in the name of god. (See Roberts, Oral or Baker, Jim & Tammy).
You forgot the Turner Diaries. I did too.

Bloodshed will pursue you?"
Bryan Fisher is an awesome person, a friend, and a good reporter of the truth. The original article reported on in your Blog as being Bryan's personal commentary is factually incorrect. IVA made no commentary on the article, merely relayed it. What is reprehensible is for you to commit this type of ongoing libel at the Statesman.
IVA believes in the Bible and its veracity. The original article's author related a factual occurrence regarding their protests around Mr. Feldkemps Redlands, CA residence asking them to repent for "dealing in child murder for profit." (the little "" marks mean IT IS A QUOTE)
"We warned him, for his children's sake, to wash his hands of the innocent blood he assisted in spilling because, as Scripture warns, if "you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you". (Ezekiel 35:6)
The fact is that these people are who they are and what happened happened. It may be coincidental or not. The point is that these facts have never and will never appear in the Idaho Statesman, even as a curiosity item.
Christian's believe that God is a God of judgement. Bryan Fisher is not being judgemental. The Statesman's bloggers are!
Jesus is still some nice dude that married my ex's daughter.

Since your version of TRUTH is culled from mythology of 2000
years ago, I deem that you don't know truth, won't listen to truth, and can't handle the truth.
Want some truth? Here's some in a nutshell:
Chrisitianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple from a magical tree. Now what about that is wrong?
You forgot her son was the Original Gangster.

SOOOO you're saying GOD may have killed children, just
to get revenge? (Remember, Ezekiel 35:6?)
Is that what you truly believe? Is that your god? Must be, its' in your scripture.
You are some sick frickin' puppies to believe that nonsense.
Why....
don't religious extremists like Fischer ever choose to remember THIS part of the Bible???
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: / Give, and it shall be given unto you
There are very few people on earth more hateful and vindictive than those who feel the righteousness of the Lord is on their side.
What a sad, angry, pathetic excuse for a man.
Watch "For the Bible Tells Me So", and "Jesus Camp"
It may anger you how some interpret the bible.

What Chris wrote at Unequivocal ...
"Bryan Fischer relishes the deaths of 14 people killed in a plane crash in MT. Yet Idaho’s media continues to call him for comment on pretty much any political story."
The second sentence is telling, and it points to the outsized influence that Fischer holds in this state.
I was there in the House Health & Welfare Committee today when his testimony - along with that of Kimberly (Mrs Wayne) Hoffman, a former day care owner - was the only testimony given in opposition to the bipartisan child-care bill that easily passed the Senate 30-5 two weeks ago. Yet somehow, the words of Fischer and Hoffman trumped that of the dozen-plus other people who practically begged for the bill's passage, including representatives of the Catholic and Adventist churches, a lawyer for Idaho's health districts, and a woman whose baby nearly died in what she thought was a safe child-care facility.
When Fischer started his testimony, he said, "My concerns ..." then corrected himself to say "Our concerns ..." But really, whom does Bryan Fischer represent? Why doesn't the Idaho media do a little digging to see just how many people have an active role in the Idaho Values Alliance, or whether it's just Bryan Fischer trying to convince us that he speaks for the majority of Idahoans?
The majority of Idahoans know better. But I'm not sure the majority of the media and the Legislature do.
some enterprising reporter
should get the Forms 990 for the Idaho Values Alliance and do a little digging. Who donates to it? How much is Fischer paid? What else does the money go for?
Amen, sister
But it will probably be an enterprising blogger, since the dwindling ranks of paid professionals don't have time for enterprise reporting.

Ignorance of the law? Bloodshed will pursue you?
Break a law & you'll get that line from the judge but if a lawmaker does? Lawmakers are law breakers as evident by the current finacial crisis we face as a nation through campaign finance. I read in the Statesman where some of those responsible for this financial crisis contributed $64 million to our illustrious representatives. The FED, SEC, & Treasury stopped public debate inmto derivatives. Association before & after the fact?
Why do we have seat belt laws? Campaign finance didn't have anything to do with this law, insurance contributing to politicians & paying lobbyist like Bill Roden? Who is lobbying for a tax on alcohol to help pay for the damage done because of alcohol abuse? The grime reaper? I don't think so. Will
Our representatives are suppose to have a little to do with that, {representation} & they have to get advice from lobbyists to stop a tax to help offset the cost? Prisons are just one cost, treatment, all costs associated, a list perpetual but our representatives elected through campaign finance, lobbyist like Roden paid millions by alcochol, & related business manipulate the cost to people who don't even drink. Every time there is an accident what question is always up front? Was alcohol a factor? If we ask every time there is an accident, the police should be talking to our representaives or reports stacked ain fron of them along with the costs of everything associated.
Money isn't the only price paid but death has no lobbyist & the family? Does each family who loses while paying all the taxes evaded through campain finance, have the money a corporation making millions, enough to contribute & buy lobbyist?
Roden, Mr Magoo puts alcohol companies & himself ahead of the people who die & their families through the manipulattion of representation paid through their taxes. The little freak should be included in a class action law suit along with all representatives who accept $ from alcohol companies, the same who accept pay from those families & raise their taxes to pay for prison & everything else. Business is more important to our representatives because they contribute & pay lobbyist & while they didn't raise alcohol tax they did hand out more liquor licenses to resturants & other business. That won't put another DUI on the street?
Does this contradict a seat belt law? The insurance industry all about seat belts should be spending $ on lobbyist to tax alcohol & where are Roden & our representatives in the mix? Accepting campaign contributions from insurance & alcohol companies & business that sell alcohol. Conflict of interest?
Otter admits as LT Gov he didn't know how to do his job or Gov Andrus's job who was out of the state & had Roden do his job for him. Why do we elect or pay these dead beats & look how long they linger like a bad oder.
As a Senator Roden helped pass the first alcohol tax & as a lobbyist stops an ncrease when we need money? Sorry but Roden is a criminal just like otter & all our represnetatives, lawmakers, lawbreakers, & porr excuse for representation.
I drink & wouldn't cry about paying more taxes because I do would be just as much a hypocrite as a family man accepting tax credits for every child while someone who doesn't have children aborbs those taxes. My wife & I are paying for their education & we don't have kids.
I could talk to my representatives, come up with better arguements to tax then to allow tax cuts but I don't contribute & pay lobbyist so I would have no influence.
Our government, representatives, campaign contributors, & lobbyists are responsible for everything wrong in America today. From illgeal immigration, unaffordable health insurance, drug cartels in every city, war, this financial crisis, & $11 trillion debt. We could pay Americans a living wage with health care & retirement our representatives enjoy on US while blaming auto makers for busting that business for the same benefits.
Our represnetatives are crooked, lazy, no good scum who accept $ from whoever is willing & can afford to buy a representative so they can all profit. Anbody who doesn't recognize the crime our represnetation is responsible for isn't paying attention, just paying.
More bad ninja puddytats flying under the radar.

Honest day's pay for an honest day's work.
America's financial problems are an easy fix. Take all campaign contributions given to our representatives, tax all contributions to politicians not yet on our payroll, but soon will be due to the money contributed, & eliminate lobbyist.
Make contributors submit ideas lobbyist manipulate our representation with, put it in writing, open to the public, you know, taxpayers who absorb the taxes evaded. Let's keep it open, you know, public knowledge so our representatives can't hide the truth, & tax US with it in return for contributions.
www.nextrevolution.net
Campaign finance is the reason We the People don't have any representation & we're in this financial crisis costing taxpayers trillions of $! No two ways about it.
If you added up all the debt & everything we're paying for today, from illegal immigration, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, free trade, this financial crisis, & everything else, we'd be money ahead paying Americans $20 an hour with health insurance, & retirement.
We pay bankers, Wall Street , & CEOS, millions to break the world economy then millions in bonuses on top of trillions to bail them out. Add the cost of our representatives, health care & retirement we're paying these clowns, & tell me the old school thought of an honest day's pay for an honest day's work wouldn't work just as well.

IVA claims to be a 501c3.
Part of that privilege requires they submit to public inquiries of their financial information. There is also some restrictions on political actions by such organizations.
But for anyone interested, you can request their current IRS Form 990 to see their financial information, donors, directors salary, etc. You can also request their original tax-exempt filing application. Submit your request in writing and in person and IVA is subject to IRS penalties if they do not comply with the request.
Seems, Fisher is walking on a slippery slope with such things as a formal letter to Moscow City Council testifying against domestic partnerships. That sounds like lobbying and political actions to me... not allowed by 501c3s.

Dear IRS,
Now that the US taxpayer is covering the warranty on his own car
like we do our bank accounts through the FDIC, we should feel as good about the warranties as we do the banks? The big three are only in need of billions, our representatives are digging US trillions more in debt every day, on top of how many trillion we already owe. Still feel good about your new car warranty?
Big oil with record profits had a lot to do with auto makers poor fuel mileage & what sold, compacts or SUVs. Just like alternative energy not being in place now while tapayers foot the bill in stimulus & infrastructure. Make the oil industry cover auto warranties. Our represnetatives, banks, big oil, & the big three are all in bed together & We the People are being taken in the greatest scam the world has ever seen by these crooks!
We the People, not our representatives of millionaire status who have great pay, campaign finance, continue to give themselves auto pay raises, health care, & insurance we lose more of everyday are on the hook for every penny they spend, after they made trillions!
Full fiancial disclosure demanded by US taxpayers & US government, Idaho's or the Secretary of State's aren't what I would consider the same. US taxpayers have to jump through hoops to do their own taxes & our representatives hand out our $ like candy on Oct 31. Secretary of Treasury is a tax cheat of millionaire status & when he was caught, pay the bill, no big deal. An individual paying for this mess, who just lost his job would have a lein on his house.
Anybody foolish enough to believe anything our representatives say or do, while being taken in the greatest scam the world has ever seen, deserves to pay. The Idaho Tax Commission with Otter's buddy running that scam should have cleared it up in Idhao.
I don't know if the following is true but it makes one think.

FINANCE: U.S. Lawmakers Invested in Iraq, Afghanistan Wars
By Abid Aslam
WASHINGTON, Apr 7 (IPS) - U.S. lawmakers have a financial interest in military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, a review of their accounts has revealed.
Members of Congress invested nearly 196 million dollars of their own money in companies that receive hundreds of millions of dollars a day from Pentagon contracts to provide goods and services to U.S. armed forces, say nonpartisan watchdog groups.
Senator John Kerry, the Democrat from Massachusetts who staked his 2004 presidential bid in part on his opposition to the war, tops the list of investors. His holdings in firms with Pentagon contracts of at least five million dollars stood at between 28.9 million dollars and 38.2 million dollars as of Dec. 31, 2006. Kerry sits on the Senate foreign relations panel
Other top investors include Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen, a New Jersey Republican with holdings of 12.1 million - 49.1 million dollars; Rep. Robin Hayes, a North Carolina Republican (9.2 million - 37.1 million dollars); Republican Rep. James Sensenbrenner Jr. of Wisconsin (5.2 million - 7.6 million dollars); and Rep. Jane Harman, a California Democrat (2.7 million - 6.3 million dollars).
In all, 151 current members of Congress - more than one-fourth of the total - have invested between 78.7 million dollars and 195.5 million dollars in companies that received defence contracts of at least 5.0 million dollars, according to CRP.
These companies received more than 275.6 billion dollars from the government in 2006, or 755 million dollars per day, says budget watchdog group OMB Watch.
The investments yielded lawmakers 15.8 million - 62 million dollars in dividend income, capital gains, royalties, and interest from 2004 through 2006, says CRP.
The Idaho Statesman Sunday Scene, News if the weird had it's own little story adding to the fire. Marion Barry hasn't filed taxes for years & 22 other representatives from GA either woed back taxes or failed to file for at least one year.
Are We the People so foolish we'd allow this to continue? YES!
and now he's teaching a *science* class?
Accordingto his website:
"I’ll have the privilege this week, at the invitation of a science teacher, to spend two hours with science students at one of the valley’s public high schools looking with them at some of the scientific data that raises serious questions about evolutionary theory.
"My presentation will focus on science, not religion, and virtually every quote I will use in my presentation is from a scientist who is a committed evolutionist yet nevertheless admits there are serious problems with one facet of evolutionary theory or another.
"Our nation was founded on the “self-evident truth” that there is a “Creator” who is the source of our fundamental and “inalienable” rights. (It will be perfectly constitutional, by the way, to talk about the “Creator” in public school classrooms as long as it is constitutional to talk about the Declaration of Independence. In fact, we are compelled to.)
"Our public school students deserve to know if the worldview that launched the greatest nation in the history of the world is a scientifically defensible one. I trust that this week open-minded students at this Treasure Valley high school will realize the answer to this question is a solid “Yes.”"
http://www.idahovaluesalliance.com/news.asp?id=1052
Wow, maybe our education system is in trouble...
Hope someday we find out the CREATOR was a scientist from another galaxy doing an experiment in planetary evolution...that would be a hoot.
