Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore was named a first-team Freshman All-American on Wednesday by Phil Steele, who is well known for his in-depth preseason magazines. Moore also was named an honorable mention All-American by SI.com.

Steele placed defensive lineman Billy Winn and safety George Iloka on his Freshman All-American second team.

On Tuesday, Winn was named a first-teamer and Moore and Iloka were named second-teamers on the Sporting News All-Freshman Team.

The Detroit Free Press has a story today about the recovery of former Bronco Gerald Alexander, who has missed much of the NFL season with a neck injury.

Alexander, a Detroit Lions safety and second-year pro, was injured Oct. 12 while trying to tackle Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson.

"I was heartbroken, man," Alexander told the newspaper. "It's like taking Christmas away from me. It's like Christmas every Sunday."

Go Broncos!

Its only the beginning.

Congrats and Get better soon

Kellen and Gerald, respectively.

Gerald! If you're bored and reading this...

Take it easy man! You need to realize that there is life for you *after* football, and regardless of how much us fans want to see a Bronco make news in the NFL, none of us want to see you screw up your life for a game. But here's hoping that your docs are really being ultra careful and you'll be back next year healthy and unphased by your injury.
GO BRONCOS! Mash the Frogs!
