We've made some changes to our homepage that we think will help you find more of the stories you are interested in. First, right below the multimedia box, we've added quick access to the most recent work from many of our columnists. Click on the names to see their three most recent columns. Click on "more..." to access the rest on that columnist's page.
We have a lot more content past the homepage than people realize. To help you get to it faster, each section down the left-hand side of the homepage now has five headlines instead of three. We've also added Idaho headlines to the homepage and reordered the sections to put more hard-hitting news towards the top and the lighter stuff down below (including more "weird news" headlines).
We hope you like these changes. We have more to come.

When will fix the X box near the posting window?
Fix the login and having your avatar, being able to post but being referred to as Guest. AP stories or any other must prohibit any word the user cannot post back.
At least it gets somewhat better as it goes and the personal blogging is okay and the timestamp works MUCH better.
Regular browsing of the avatars in use reveal a few risque concepts that should be modifed or replaced. Dirty imagery is as bad as unwelcome language and if it's YOU policy, enforce it or let all run rampant. A couple may involve sexual metaphor as a political statement but are not friendly to most new of outside users.
