Boise State offensive line coach Scott Huff expects to play three tackles against Oregon — freshman Nate Potter and sophomores Kevin Sapien and Matt Slater.

Potter started the Bowling Green game at left tackle after missing the opener with a knee injury. Sapien started the opener at right tackle but missed the Bowling Green game with an illness. Slater started the opener at left tackle and the Bowling Green game at right tackle.

Slater will continue to practice on both sides but will focus on right tackle, Huff said.

“He calls himself the ambi-tackle,” Huff said.

Huff called the offensive line play “OK” so far.

The Broncos are averaging 5.6 yards per carry and have allowed just two sacks.

“They actually surprised me,” junior tight end Richie Brockel said of the tackles. “They’ve played a lot better than I expected.”

Boise should be allowed to

Boise should be allowed to play all 3tackles at the same time to even things out against Oregon. I predict Boise's rushing game goes for less than 3 ypc and Oregon gets 4 sacks.

I'll take that bet. The

I'll take that bet. The line is actually playing well.

Please

What against Idaho and Bowling green, please. 4 rookies against 1 all american DE and 1 soon to be. Don't forget those 300+ senior tackles-this could get ugly-I'll take your bet

Diyral Briggs

I would like to remind our kind "O" guest that our offense played against the nation's sack leader in Bowling Green's Diyral Briggs last week. We did fine against him.
We'll be fine.

Boise sacked

I did some digging, it's true Briggs has 5 sacks so far 3 in 1 game. But our DEs have 4 each 1 or 2 a piece in every game and our team together has 20 TFLs. Moore will have a tough day of it!!!!!

I hope none of them have the

I hope none of them have the bug. Passing it on to outsiders is not fair. The bug was designed for Boise residents only. Medical masks won't save you, dummies.
