Acrey questionable, Young expected back for Oregon

Middle linebacker Derrell Acrey (left ankle) is "50-50" for Saturday's game against No. 12 Oregon, Boise State coach Chris Petersen said Monday afternoon.

Acrey was injured early in the Broncos' victory against Bowling Green. He returned for one series, but did not play after that. Acrey was on crutches on the sideline at the end of the game.

Petersen said the Broncos should know more Tuesday about Acrey's status.

Senior Dallas Dobbs is listed as the starter at middle linebacker on the team's depth chart.

Petersen said that Titus Young (suspension) will be available to play against Oregon. Young and junior Jeremy Childs are listed as co-starters for the game.

Jeremy Childs is a senior???

Someone should tell him.

Junior

Childs is a junior this year.

Rumor

"Derrell Acrey is "50-50" for Saturday's game"

It's rumored he has only a 10% chance of that.

How about...

Doug Martin? Anyone know how long he will be out?

If Doug Martin misses a few more games...

wouldn't it make sense to seek a medical red shirt? The Broncos are loaded at tail back and he is a feature type back.

Doug Martin

I believe I heard that Doug Martin was done for the year. So yes it would make sense for him to try and seek a medical red shirt year. Would be great for th program with all the talent we have a running back for the next coulpe of years
