Vobora — "Mr. Irrelevant" — placed on practice squad

Former Idaho linebacker David Vobora, the last pick in April's seven-round NFL Draft, was placed on the St. Louis Rams' practice squad this week. Vobora was on the active roster heading into last week's game, but was among the inactives for the Rams' game against Philadelphia.

Wide receiver Drew Bennett was injured in the game, so the Rams picked up Eddie Kennison and moved Vobora to make room for him.
