Guitarist Jennifer Batten to gig at Flying M in Nampa

Guitar whiz Jennifer Batten is best remembered for her time spent touring with the King of Pop in the 1980s, but she also released some crazy solo recordings and joined Jeff Beck’s band for a time.

Batten will present a multimedia guitar event at Flying M Coffeegarage in Nampa on Aug. 12. It’s part of a summer tour that sees Batten performing a number of house concerts, among other gigs.

Admission is $10 at the door. The show starts at 8 p.m. Flying M is on the corner of 14th Avenue South and 2nd Street South in downtown Nampa. Call 467-5533 for more information.
