Stone Temple Pilots planning Idaho Center Amphitheater show

One thing we’ve been missing this summer is the Big Outdoor Rawk Show, but it looks like Stone Temple Pilots are about to oblige. The alternative-rock group, which reunited after frontman Scott Weiland’s ill-fated stint in Velvet Revolver, has its eye set on the Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa.

Idaho Center management is holding Sept. 3-7 for a Stone Temple Pilots concert. No contract is signed, but all signs indicate it's going to happen. Expect the deal to get finalized soon with tickets going on sale in early August. There’s a slight chance the show could be inside the arena, but, at this point, it’s being targeted outdoors.

OK, STP fan, time to start praying that Weiland holds off till mid-September before he wakes up in jail. (Just kidding. Not really.)

Amphitheater in September?

Are you sure there won't be a hotel or car lot there by then?

I've heard those options tossed around

You know something I don't?

No. I'm nuts and sage, honestly. Can't help there.

that be great

too bad it probably cost too much and will get canceled cause nobody will go, or it gets moved inside. either way it comes im buying my ticket first day on sale

there will be at least one person there...

me! stp rocks.

Then they can sing One by Three Dog Night for y'all : )
