Cut loose, win "Footloose" tickets
All Kevin Bacon wanted to do was dance, and the law (and Reverend Moore) just didn't want to let him in "Footloose."
This 1984 film also was one of the earliest big screen appearances for "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker. But that's easy trivia.
To win a pair of tickets to the June 4 showing of "Footloose," e-mail cdryden@idahostatesman.com with your phone number and the answer to the following question (special thanks to Statesman Online News Editor Brenda Gutierrez for this one):
Which controversial book does Ren say is a classic "in any town."
A. "The Catcher in the Rye"
B. "Johnny Got His Gun"
C. "The Outsiders"
D. "Slaughterhouse-Five"
Responses must be received by midnight Monday to be eligible for the contest. Winners will be selected at random from the correct responses Tuesday morning and notified by phone or e-mail. Tickets will be available for pickup at the Idaho Statesman, 1200 N. Curtis Road, Boise.
