ZZ Top to play Idaho Center Amphitheater

Bearded, shaded, guitar-twirling rock icons ZZ Top will roll into Nampa's Idaho Center Amphitheater for a mid-week dose of Texas boogie Aug. 5.

A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, ZZ Top created a smoldering, bluesy sound in the ’70s that morphed into stylized mainstream rock in the ’80s, resulting in MTV saturation and Top 10 hits such as “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs” and “Sleeping Bag.”

Tickets to the 7 p.m. concert will be available as reserved or general admission. Prices are $29, $39 and $49. The show goes on sale at 10 a.m. May 30 at ICTickets. UPDATE: The pre-sale has started at www.ictickets.com. Password: LEGS

I can't get Flash/some other video to even play well...

I installed XP SP3 recently but since last weekend I either did a bad rollback or something or else the latest version of Flash has a real problem.

I even had one file that brought a warning that a script running in the file is causing the player to run slowly and could hang the computer eventually. I heard that YT went down last week, and while I'm not really thinking that was possibly it I can't get past 0:02 on any Flash.

Uninstall SP3. I am the IT supervisor for a large firm and REFUSE to use that patch. Chances are you need to do a fresh install as so many registry entries are entered for service packs you probably will have residual crap after uninstalling.

As for ZZ Top, it will be my first time seeing them and can't wait. There are 2, that I can think of anyways, active 3 man bands in the world with any longevity...Rush and ZZ Top. To be able to see both in the same summer here in Boise is a treat for us here in the Treasure Vally. I just hope we support them better than Rush.

this thing was siven to me and I'm not even going to make the deadline and find the Home upgrade for my 2000 Pro and may barely be luck enough to use my DTV coupon before it expires July 7th.

What to expect on 650/month? I got my food and filled he gas bottle for 4+ month of inducing carcinogens in my meat. It's my birthday the 26th. They keep running out of the stupid converters and it's 11.00 more than I have with the coupon.

I have two Pioneer laserdisc players I got on eBay and JT, Roy Orbison, Eagles, Xanadu, Thomas Dolby, Jan Hammer etc...two projectors I got fixed too. I can still get FM great. Especially on Laserdisc...haven't seen a copy yet.

Okay, what's is the diff between Flash ADS working and...

Most of the ADS work (some of the stupid ones with the dancing silhouettes work and I think Santa Claus isn't and the embarrassed dancing video fat chick one with the arrow at the bottom never does.

I gather that one of the members of DEVO is responsible for a lot of the "poll" banners and Participation games (shoot the burglar for an iPod if you do this and that). No, I really don't need stuff or care to look and there was an AJAX exploit on Yahoo! a few years ago that led to such a chill in the Yahoogroups I was in that I about cried over possible losing decent online friends that could help me fix stuff.

I'm not a computer virgin, I live on disability benefits and selling things/trading now and then. I did not have the overhead nor the margins to continue selling on eBay so that was a short-lived thing.

I thought the loginnet.passport.yada whatnot foodcourt box wanted my login but it's the one of the previous owner. NO OS DISK so I'm chewed and BROKE? THAT one won't let me use email links LIKE ON CRAIGLIST ETC and I have a Windows Live Spaces page "offline" I've been slowly working on for two years about my bikes and hobbies...I still have doctor bills leftover after A/B/D and Oregon Medicaid of maybe 100, not sure and if they would figure it out at the medical office...what good is having a budget and paying bills if 8 month old charges can waltz in from Medicare/Medicaid?

I'm not weak and helpless. I learn to solve software problems as well as hardware.

I'm might tired and have too much to do and no money to hand out to every Dogg that wags and I hate falling back on 2000 Pro with no shot of a remedy.

So I have a triple whammy and I get to hear Tammy Whammy now if you remember Press Your Luck...whatever. I have Laserdiscs.
