The RAM is having a barbecue this weekend ...
Submitted by Patrick Orr on Mon, 04/28/2008 - 3:39pm.
And Boise beer enthusiasts are invited.
To celebrate the return of spring and the awesomeness of drinking craft beer in the Idaho sun, the RAM is having a special release party/barbecue for their Bannock Street Bock Beer this Saturday, May 3, on the Stonehouse patio. And it will only cost you $10. Sweet.
For that 10-spot, the RAM will provide barbecue and be pouring a whole bunch of their specialty beers, like the Bannock St. Bock, award winning Taildragger IPA and Clearwater Kolsch (bronze and silver medalists in the 2006 Great American Beer Festival), the killer Sawtooth Stout, and Snake Thumper Irish Red.
The party/BBQ is from 6-to-9 p.m. For those who don't know where the RAM is, it is located at 709 E. Park Blvd., just east of Broadway Ave and north of the Boise River.
Ram Brewmaster Kevin Bolen and his assistant Jake Schisel make awesome beer and the $10 is great value, so I can pretty much guarantee a good time will be had by all. Members of the RAM mug club will get a special Bock beer glass as well.
Anyone planning to attend Saturday's BBQ should email Kevin at KBolen@THERAM.com so he can get a tentative head count and let the RAM folks know how much food to prepare.

I have a gas grille and that will nearly fill it...sorta.
But think, I will get 4-6 MONTHS of small BBQ action for that. I built it myself too. $70 bucks for 35000 btu, twin burners and 2.5 racks. That and speakers are the best things I've built prior to my cruiser bikes.
Well, diet rootbeer and dead meat and I hope you'll have fun by the freeway.
PS It's 600 yards from my place too!
Stay off the roads after 9:00 Pm this Saturday
all the local hillbillies will be toasted with all you can drink beer and then driving home. Don't forget to stop at Jacksons and pick up a pack of cigarettes on the way to your trailer.
Personally...
I couldn't ask you to shut up any faster...
because I slept and then had to go reset my connection at the gateway?
Have resolved the problem ...
Will be at the Eel River Brewing Company in Fortuna, CA that night.
Can walk there from any of the *4* nearby motels, and stumble back
afterwards. ;^)
