We know you don’t have time to check IdahoStatesman.com all day long to get the news, so we want to bring the news to you.
Sign up for one of our newsletters and you can get news delivered straight to your e-mail inbox.
At 6 a.m. daily, we send out the Morning Report which includes the top headlines in local news, sports, business and opinion sections.
At 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, you can receive our Afternoon Update newsletter with the latest headlines in local news, sports and business, as well as top national and international headlines. We also include links to the local traffic cameras so you can plan your commute before heading home. And you’ll find links to stuff to do to help you plan your evening whether you are going out or staying in.
Our Breaking News newsletter is sent out when there is big breaking news. We promise not to spam you with news of every traffic accident and change in the weather. Recently, we’ve sent it out when the new Mormon president was selected, when we found out Barack Obama was coming to Boise, and after Gov. Butch Otter's State of the State address.
Our newest offering is the Legislature Update newsletter. This goes out at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday during the Idaho legislative session. In it, you’ll get the most recent headlines from the session, links to our blogs and links to Boise State Radio and Idaho Public Television coverage.
If you aren't yet a registered user of our site, click here to become one. If you are a registered user, click on "Member Center" in our top navigation bar to subscribe to the newsletters.
We have a few more newsletters on the drawing board. Are there any topics you are interested in? Let me know.
