Attention powderhounds

I'm up at the top of Deer Point Lift at Bogus Basin and it's a stinging, blinding whiteout. There's 3-4" of new snow on the groomed runs plus there's loads of untracked powder in the trees. It's totally fabulous. Even on my tele skis the carving is fantastic. You'd better hurry up and get up here! »

The REAL Powder's in Sun Valley!
If you like powder, you're missing out by not skiing in Sun Valley...11 inches of fresh powder in the last 24 hours, with more promised tonight. Saturday is going to be an epic day on Baldy...hope to see ya on the slopes!

It is nice up there!
I'll take this spot to repeat the idea of transfering the Simplot house into a base lodge for a bogus tram. Parking, restaurant, roundhouse viewing, and a $5 tram ride up the mountain.

That is an incredible idea.
A tram going from the Simplot place to Bogus would probably pay for itself in a couple years with both winter and summer riders.
