We've improved our things to do calendar. You can see the icon in the same place as before - next to local news on the homepage (and a similar location on the other pages).

It's easy to use. Click on a day, and you'll see the list of events. Or you can search categories like Music or Sports. Or type in a keyword like basketball and click the search button.

One cool feature is you can submit your organization’s event yourself. You do need to be registered at IdahoStatesman.com (the registration link is on top of the homepage), but after that, follow the link on the left on the main calendar page. The link will guide you through all the steps (including time, date, cost and other event details).

Your event information is subject to Statesman approval. Once it's OK’d, it will appear in the calendar. Statesman staff will also consider it for possible publication in the newspaper.
